Lady Gaga, in a short span of time, has become a global superstar thanks to her smash hit singles and multiplatinum albums. The 26 year old pop sensation exploded onto the music scene almost a decade ago and hasn’t looked back ever since. Ranked “third most influential female in the world” by the prestigious Time magazine behind Hilary Clinton and Angela Merkel, Gaga has won countless awards, released critically acclaimed studio albums and has sold a staggering 20 million albums worldwide.
tickets for lady gaga are hard to come by given the fact that the singer is constantly evolving the look and feel of her live gigs which not just feature her super popular singles but also exhaustive dance routines and exaggerated props onlysomeone like Gaga can pull off.
Billboard’s Artist of the Year in 2010, this multitalented individual has developed a massive fan-base which she dubs her “little monsters” and what these fans love most about their favorite musician is her eccentric dressing sense apart from her music.
Lady Gaga is internationally known for her shock value and consistently wears outfits that defy comprehension and is constantly under public and media scrutiny. But that doesn’t stop her from doing what she likes.
Over the years Gaga has made some bizarre fashion statements. She definitely knows how to start a buzz and get the fans and critics talking. Here are a few of her outfits that pushed the envelope as far as fashion is concerned.
Gaga dressed in a red outfit that completely covered her body from head to toe, including her face at the MTV VMA’s 2009. Even someone like Eminem looked confused while standing next to her.
Gaga did the unexpected when she showed up at the 2011 MTV VMA’s dressed as a dude out of a mobster film. She called herself Jo Calderone. Naturally both the media and fans couldn’t get enough of her even if she was dressed like a man complete with stubble.
The Meat Treat
Who can forget the most shocking Lady Gaga moment of all? MTV VMA’s again and this time she wore meat of a dead cow cut out like a dress complete with headdress made out of meat as well. Weird!
Why wear pearls when you can stick them on your face and look ridiculously stupid. Gaga decided not to wear pearls around her neck instead she stuck the MAC Cosmetics sponsored jewels to her face. Even her hat had pearls sticking out.
Gaga creeped out Sesame Street fans by wearing a jacket made out of popular muppet Kermit the Frog. The German host of the television show she was on was clearly bewildered by her outfit.
Whatever she’s up to next will cause quite an outrage again I’m sure. As opposed to Gaga’s outfits one thing has remain unchanged and that is her ability to thoroughly entertain her fans and give them one heck of a show. I’ve got Lady Gaga Tickets to see her live in New York’s at the Madison Square Garden. Can’t wait to see her stage antics.
